Siamese Cat Hand Puppet - Hansa Creation
Siamese cat hand puppet by Hansa Creation with cream fur, dark points and blue eyes
Anyone creating animal stories in puppet theatre can easily include the siamese cat hand puppet by Hansa Creation. The puppet suits small scenes, quiet storytelling moments and imaginative play. This makes it easy for new stories to grow.
The Siamese is one of the oldest recognised cat breeds, originating from present-day Thailand (Siam). It is renowned for its dark "points" on cooler body areas — an effect of the temperature-sensitive enzyme tyrosinase. Siamese cats are considered exceptionally communicative, producing a wide range of loud, melodic calls. They are very people-oriented and actively demand attention.
Did you know that all Siamese kittens are born completely white? The dark points develop only in the weeks after birth as the cooler body areas activate the temperature-dependent colour gene — the colder the environment, the darker the markings.
